About Prepaid King

Prepaid King is an established wholesale and retail distribution business supplying prepaid telecommunications products, mobile phone accessories and related products to customers and retail businesses. We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Sales and Marketing Manager to strengthen our market presence, expand customer relationships and support the continued growth of our operations.

About the Role

The Sales and Marketing Manager will lead the planning and delivery of sales, business development and promotional initiatives across the organisation. The position will focus on increasing wholesale and retail account activity, expanding the customer network, improving market engagement and supporting sustainable revenue growth.

The successful applicant will work closely with senior management, sales personnel, suppliers and operational teams to ensure sales and marketing activities are commercially effective and aligned with the organisation's objectives.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and implement practical sales and marketing plans that support the company's revenue, customer-growth and market-expansion objectives.

· Identify prospective retailers, resellers, commercial customers and distribution opportunities, and establish strategies to convert prospects into active accounts.

· Build and maintain productive relationships with existing wholesale and retail customers to improve retention, order frequency and long-term account value.

· Set sales targets and monitor results across customer accounts, product categories, promotional periods and geographic markets.

· Analyse customer purchasing patterns, competitor activity, product demand and market developments to support commercial decision-making.

· Plan and coordinate promotional campaigns for product launches, seasonal offers, wholesale ranges and retail display initiatives.

· Manage digital marketing activities, customer email campaigns, online promotions, social media content and business-to-business advertising.

· Develop and review sales presentations, product catalogues, promotional material and customer communications.

· Recommend suitable pricing, promotional and product-positioning approaches in consultation with senior management.

· Evaluate campaign and sales performance and recommend improvements based on customer response, conversion outcomes and financial results.

· Prepare sales forecasts, marketing budgets, performance reports and commercial recommendations for management.

· Coordinate the activities of sales staff, account representatives, contractors and external marketing providers where applicable.

· Work with purchasing, inventory and operations teams to align promotional activity with stock availability and expected customer demand.

· Maintain accurate customer, sales-pipeline and marketing information using the company's business and reporting systems.

· Represent the company in discussions with key customers, suppliers, commercial partners and relevant industry contacts.

Mandatory Experience and Skills

· A minimum of one year of relevant full-time experience, or equivalent part-time experience, in sales and marketing management is mandatory.

· Demonstrated experience developing and implementing sales strategies, promotional campaigns and business-growth initiatives.

· Experience managing wholesale, retail distribution, business-to-business or customer account relationships.

· Ability to establish sales targets and evaluate performance using sales, market and customer data.

· Strong business development, negotiation, leadership and stakeholder-management skills.

· Experience coordinating digital marketing, promotional content and customer communications.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports, forecasts and presentations.

· Sound organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple commercial priorities and deadlines.

· Competence using customer relationship management, inventory, e-commerce or sales-reporting systems.

Qualifications

A relevant qualification in marketing, business, commerce, management or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
