The NSW Police Force (NSWPF) is one of the largest police forces in the western world, with more than 20,000 employees, including more than 4,000 administrative employees who support the sworn officers that provide a range of law and order services 24 hours a day, seven days a week to the socially, geographically and culturally diverse community of NSW.

About the role

We have an opportunity for a Business Improvement and Governance Manager to be part of the Business Strategy & Support directorate within People & Capability Command for a 12-month period with an anticipated start date in September 2026.

The People & Capability Command is responsible for providing human resources and education services to the NSW Police Force across the employee lifecycle. The role is responsible for managing a team of 6 staff and management of all functions within the Business Improvement & Governance Team. The position coordinates and implements quality assurance programs, business plan development, business continuity planning and strategic projects to improve performance and functions aligned to strategic outcomes. This position is located in our modern office at Sydney Olympic Park, right next to Olympic Park train station. We are seeking a motivated and committed individual to join our dynamic, inclusive team who are committed to excellence.
