Mobile Device Repair Technician / Trainee Technician

Part-Time Position with Leadership Growth Opportunity

We're Townsville's leading mobile device repair centre, recognised for high-quality workmanship, fast turnaround times, and exceptional customer service. As we continue to grow, we're looking for someone who wants more than just a job—we're looking for someone who wants to build a career.

Whether you're an experienced repair technician or someone with a genuine passion for technology and problem solving, we'll provide the training, support, and opportunities to help you succeed.

About the Role

This position is initially offered on a part-time basis. However, we're ultimately looking for someone with the drive and leadership potential to grow into a full-time role as our business continues to expand.

For the right candidate, full-time employment may be considered immediately.

As part of our team, you'll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of devices, including smartphones, tablets, and other portable electronics.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Performing screen, battery, charging port and other repairs across Apple, Samsung and other major brands.
Testing, troubleshooting and ensuring every repair meets our quality standards.
Communicating clearly with customers and teammates regarding repair progress.
Maintaining a clean, organised and professional workspace while following ESD and safety procedures.
Continuously developing your technical skills through structured training and hands-on experience.

Hours and pay will be determined by your experience, skills and performance.

Previous experience repairing mobile phones, tablets or other electronics.
Familiarity with iOS and Android devices.
Experience using diagnostic equipment.
Micro-soldering or board-level repair experience.

Full training will be provided for the right person.
