Full Job Description

Art House Pictures is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated producer to work on a comedy documentary series, alongside its Creative Director.

The factual, partially scripted series is currently in production and each episode is set to run for a duration of 25-30 minutes in the format of ABC's Secret Science.

Producer responsibilities (to be shared with Creative Director) are:

Research subject matter and relevant concepts for fact checking purposes
Coordinate and schedule filming times with talent
Provide perspective on script/story arc of each episode

While these skills are nice to have, they can be honed as production progresses. Above all, must have skills are:

Responsive and excellent verbal and written communication skills
100% committed and dedicated to the task at hand
Passionate about conveying impactful stories to inspire and educate audiences to enact positive change.

This role is ideal for someone studying or working in Film/TV production. The project being an independent production, budgeted allocation is 30 AUD/hour for the producer role, with meals and film-related travel expenses provided.
