About the role
As our Senior Video Producer based in Sydney, you will bring Mamamia's popular podcast shows and brand to life across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and our website/app. Reporting to the Head of Production, you'll master our hosts' unique voices, capture audience trends, and craft captivating, social-first video content that resonates with millions of women. Here's some of the stuff you can expect to be doing if you join us:

Film, edit, and produce captivating, social-first video content optimized for platforms including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and Mamamia platforms.

Incorporate trending music, effects, and innovative editing techniques to drive audience growth and engagement.

Provide creative direction to hosts where required to optimize visual output and show authenticity.

Conduct thorough quality control (QC) checks to ensure all video content is error-free and compliant with technical platform specifications.

Collaborate closely with hosts, producers, and commercial teams to execute campaigns and bring creative visions to life.

Monitor audience interaction across social channels and provide regular feedback and insights to the wider content team.

Manage production equipment, ensure shooting locations are fit for purpose, and organize digital media assets efficiently.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, platform features, and social algorithms to continuously bring fresh, innovative ideas to our content strategy.

Demonstrated experience creating compelling, social-first video content that resonates with diverse audiences.

Proven experience in operating cameras with solid knowledge of framing, lighting, and audio capture.

Strong post-production editing skills, with proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and tools like CapCut and Canva.

A collaborative team player who takes ownership of responsibilities and communicates with curiosity, respect, and openness.

A proactive, creative problem solver with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Strong audience-first mindset with the ability to balance creative storytelling with commercial requirements.
