Art House Pictures is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated producer to work on a comedy documentary series, alongside its Creative Director.
The factual, partially scripted series is currently in production and each episode is set to run for a duration of 25-30 minutes in the format of ABC's Secret Science.
Producer responsibilities (to be shared with Creative Director) are:
- Research subject matter and relevant concepts for fact checking purposes
- Coordinate and schedule filming times with talent
- Provide perspective on script/story arc of each episode
While these skills are nice to have, they can be honed as production progresses. Above all, must have skills are:
- Responsive and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 100% committed and dedicated to the task at hand
- Passionate about conveying impactful stories to inspire and educate audiences to enact positive change.
This role is ideal for someone studying or working in Film/TV production. The project being an independent production, budgeted allocation is 30 AUD/hour for the producer role, with meals and film-related travel expenses provided.
