About the Company

Trivantage Manufacturing is an Electrical Engineering & Manufacturing Company specialising in the design, manufacture, testing, and installation of electrical switchboards, transformer kiosks, and package substation solutions. Due to our continuing growth, we are currently seeking an experienced project manager to join our Switchboard Manufacturing division located in Brisbane Airport, Queensland.

About the role

Due to organic growth, we are looking to employ an experienced Electrical Designer to assist with the Design of LV/MV/HV Electrical systems including Main Switchboards, Motor Control Centers, Distribution Boards, PLC panels, control panels and outdoor enclosures. This is a permanent position 38 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Duties

Your responsibilities will include:

· Working within the Manufacturing Division’s Design and Engineering team to deliver set goals and objectives.

· Designing circuit diagrams and switchboard general arrangements using AutoCAD.

· Ensuring that all design results meet the customer’s requirements in accordance with the company, Statutory, Regulatory, and relevant Australian Standards i.e. AS/NZS 61439 and project specific speciﬁcations.

· Liaising with all relevant stakeholders to ensure that design requirements and documentation are obtained, communicated, and understood by all stakeholders.

· Actively taking part in all the Manufacturing Division’s Safety requirements set by the Trivantage Group.

· Actively working with and ensuring that all Quality and Environmental System requirements for the Manufacturing Division are being met with a positive attitude.

Skills and Qualifications:

Tertiary Engineering qualiﬁcation or trade certificate.
Minimum 12 months of work experience particularly in the switchboard industry.
Knowledge in electrical switchboards, control systems, motor control, power distribution electrical installations, and manufacturing
Ability to work in a team environment
Proﬁcient use of AutoCAD and Microsoft Oﬃce packages
Working knowledge of all guidelines, Statutory and Regulatory and the new Australian Standard speciﬁcation relevant to the design of switchboards
Ability to communicate eﬀectively at all levels Willingness to work as directed
Self-motivated and enthusiastic outlook Leadership experience and/or aspirations
Possess excellent knowledge and experience with commonly used supplier equipment such as Siemens, ABB, Schneider and NHP.

You will be working in a busy and fast paced environment so you must be a team player with excellent communication skills. Our varied product mix and range of projects will ensure that your job will be an interesting one with ongoing opportunities to expand your skill base.

Pay: $90,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
