Who are we?

MCWA is an in-home aged care provider with 40 years experience that focuses on supporting the multicultural ageing and elderly communities in Australia.

About the Role:

Exciting opportunity for a person who is passionate about aged care, and supporting the ageing and elderly.

We are looking for Gardeners to support our Home Care clients in the Northern, Western and South East areas.

Responsibilities:

Lawn mowing
Weeding of established garden beds
Maintaining access and egress pathways through a property
Yard clearance to ensure safe access Essential pruning for access areas

To be considered for this role, you must have:

Valid Drivers License
Police Check
Suitable vehicle
Equipment (tool allowance will be paid) - not mandatory
Proven experience in gardening and outdoor maintenance, preferably with elderly clients or in a home care setting.
Knowledge of safe and effective use of gardening tools, including lawn mowers, trimmers, and pruning shears.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions.
Experience with basic plant care and pruning techniques.
Understanding of the importance of maintaining a safe environment for elderly individuals.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: From $38.00 per hour
