Position: Water Cart Operator/Gardener

Summary: This hybrid position involves gardening and grounds maintenance during the cooler months, transitioning to water cart-truck operation throughout the warmer months.

We are seeking a multi-skilled team member to join our existing, very successful maintenance team. You will be maintaining housing estate assets including parks, gardens, reserves, and streetscapes - ensuring our turf and horticultural assets stay green and thriving.
Key Responsibilities
As a valued team member, you will support our team of gardeners and be responsible for:
- Distribution of water on various sites through operating our inhouse water cart/truck
- Mulching, planting and weeding
- Brush-cutting, hedging and pruning
- Push-mowing
- Performing tree and plant growth treatments
- General open space maintenance; tidy and clean up
- Using hand tools and light machinery including edging paths where required
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you must have:
- A current Victorian Driver's Licence with a Medium Rigid endorsement
- Gardening or estate maintenance experience
- Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Traffic Management Certificate (an advantage)
- First Aid Certificate (an advantage)
