About the Role

As an Analyst, you will work closely with senior leaders across Strategy, Capability, Marketing and Corporate Finance. You will provide support and guidance to the business Head and Associate Director, Strategy, helping to shape the strategic direction and transformation of Institutional. You will provide support in translating market, regulatory and customer insights into targeted propositions and scalable business outcomes, aligned with Group expectations.

You will also analyse results to identify opportunities to improve growth outcomes, profitability and customer activity, aligned with the strategic direction of Institutional. You will work closely with stakeholders across Risk, T&C, Finance, Tech, Group Strategy and Operations to support strategic execution consistent with sustainable cost expectations.

Role Location: Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane
Role Type: Permanent, Full-time

What will your day look like?

As an Analyst, you will:

Support the development, execution, and communication of Institutional strategy and divisional priorities.
Conduct data analysis to identify growth opportunities, revenue pools, and emerging business trends.
Coordinate and align strategic initiatives across business units and stakeholders.
Support major transformation programs and track progress against objectives and outcomes.
Provide data-driven insights and hypothesis testing to drive simplification, efficiency, and growth.
Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform strategic decision-making.
Support development of customer segmentation strategies, value propositions, and customer-centric initiatives.
Foster collaboration across ANZ, maintain a customer-first mindset, and support knowledge sharing within the team.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

Experience and understanding of the Institutional business.
Microsoft office skills, with a strong emphasis on building, creating PowerPoint, advanced excel, co-pilot, teams and SharePoint navigation.
Strong data and analytical skills
Strong problem solving and collaboration skills – an ability to quickly identify strengths and weaknesses of a problem, engage appropriate SMEs and develop recommendations that lead to meaningful improvement across the business.
Well organised, able to manage and prioritise a large and fast-moving workload, supporting the coordination and delivery of multiple simultaneous initiatives.
Strong communication, collaboration and influencing skills - spoken, written and in person.
Experience in building and maintaining key stakeholder relationships.
