Full Job Description

Help shape a new youth justice service for victims of crime.
Support people through sensitive and life-changing moments.
Lead a small team delivering trauma-informed services across Victoria.
Build strong systems, policies and training from the ground up.
Fixed-term, full-time role until 30th June 2028 earning $116,413 - $140,849 per year, plus super.

What you will do

As victim registers - senior coordinator, you will help deliver important services for victims of crime.

You will support the rollout and daily operation of the youth justice victims register.

You will:

lead the setup of the youth justice victims register and improve team processes
provide trauma-informed support to victims by phone, email and post
supervise and support junior staff across the registers
prepare clear reports, briefings and advice on complex matters
build strong working relationships with justice agencies and support services.

About you

You should have experience working in a service delivery setting. Qualifications in psychology, social work, human services, law or a related field are highly desirable.

You should also have:

experience delivering trauma-informed services to victims and families
knowledge of the victim services and youth justice systems
experience handling sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality
strong skills in problem-solving, staff support and service improvement.
