Your next career opportunity
In this Senior Engineering Operations Coordinator role, you will make engineering workshops, makerspaces and informal student spaces safe, reliable and welcoming places to learn, teach and create. You will coordinate training, maintenance and technical support so users can move from early prototypes to working demonstrators with confidence.
You may be a great fit if you :
Coordinate operational activities, including training, maintenance scheduling and inventory management in workshops, labs or similar settings.
Offer technical skills such as machining, mechatronics, electronics, digital fabrication, CAD or related capabilities.

Your new team
You will join the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology’s Infrastructure team, working within the Workshop, Makerspaces and Engagement group. This collaborative team underpins safe, hands ‑ on education and research by running technical spaces, coordinating training and maintaining equipment. You will work closely with colleagues across laboratory services, infrastructure operations and health, safety and wellbeing, gaining exposure to diverse projects while helping deliver consistent, high ‑ quality experiences for students and staff.
