The Greenhouse Collective is the home team for creatives, designers, and production focused craftspeople within the Woolworths Group. As part of the Brand and Marketing team, we are a center of creative excellence, powered by a collective of internal team members and agency partners who support the Woolworths Group Brand & Marketing practitioners in applying their craft and capabilities to solve and achieve goals.
What you’ll do
As our Sound Engineer within the Greenhouse Collective, you will elevate our internal audio capabilities, managing our in-house sound studio and delivering high-end sound design, VO recording, and audio finishing for Woolworths Group brands. You will bridge traditional audio excellence with cutting-edge production by driving the integration of synthetic voice and music automation,ensuring efficiency never compromises brand quality. More than an engineer, you will serve as the collective’s audio authority, providing strategic guidance to video editors, producers, and creative leads.

Deliver high-end sound design and audio finishing for major campaigns (TV, Radio, BVOD, OLV, Youtube) ensuring full compliance with broadcast standards.

Direct the technical setup, maintenance, and workflow optimisation of the in-house studio while leading high-stakes VO recording sessions.

Drive the technical integration of synthetic voice and music platforms, establishing strict quality control processes to ensure AI assets meet brand standards.

Prototype synthetic music and automation tools, evolving the role into a specialised music supervisor as technologies mature.

Advise creative and production teams on technical feasibility during concept stages, and collaborate to build automated audio pipelines for high-volume workstreams.
What you’ll bring
-
5–7+ Years of Industry Experience: Proven track record as a Sound Engineer or Audio Post-Production Specialist within a high-volume advertising agency or broadcast environment.

Mastery of Audio Software & Specifications: Advanced expertise in Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or Audition, with deep knowledge of mixing, mastering, and broadcast delivery specs (e.g., OP-59/R128).

VO Direction & Talent Management: Extensive experience directing voice talent and delivering polished, "media-ready" commercial audio for national brands.

AI & Audio Automation Literacy: Demonstrated experience or high literacy in generative audio (synthetic voice/music) with a passion for embedding these tools into professional workflows.

Discipline Leadership & Consultation: Ability to represent the audio discipline in senior stakeholder meetings, providing authoritative technical and creative direction.

Technical Excellence & Music Background (Desirable): Impeccable session organisation alongside retail/FMCG experience and a background in music theory, composition, or supervision.
