We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Duties and Responsibilities are:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee construction and maintenance projects from commencement to completion.
- Lead the allocation and coordination of resources, including labour, materials, plant, and equipment across multiple projects.
- Review and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and project requirements to ensure successful project delivery.
- Manage contractors, subcontractors, tradespeople, and project staff to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and risk management plans.
- Procure materials, equipment, and services in a cost-effective and timely manner.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, suppliers, and regulatory authorities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and negotiate tenders, contracts, and project variations as required.
- Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, legislation, workplace health and safety requirements, and industry standards.
- Conduct site inspections, coordinate stakeholder inspections, and oversee project progress to ensure timely completion.
- Provide leadership, performance management, and support to project teams and subcontractors.
- Prepare project reports and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders regarding project outcomes, timelines, and deliverables.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in construction management, preferably within the residential building sector.
- Strong project management, planning, and organisational skills.
- Sound knowledge of construction methods, building regulations, and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects, contractors, and project teams.
- Proficiency in interpreting architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
- Fluency in English is essential. Additional language skills in Nepali, Hindi, or Bislama will be highly regarded.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
