As an experienced Demand Planner, you’ll bring your skill, your curiosity and your drive to make health simpler, smarter and more human.

The Demand Planner is responsible for leading all forecasting activities across customers and products within the Consumer Healthcare business unit.

This role owns the development of a robust, data-driven demand plan and facilitates cross-functional alignment to deliver a single, consensus forecast as part of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process.

Translates market insights into an unconstrained demand forecast, identifies risks and opportunities, and drives alignment with commercial, finance and supply stakeholders to support business decision making.

This role supports both Australia and New Zealand markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Forecasting and Integrated Business Planning

Develop and manage monthly demand forecasts at SKU / DFU level in collaboration with Commercial teams
Own the creation of the unconstrained demand forecast, incorporating historical trends, market intelligence and promotional plans
Facilitate Demand Review discussions to drive cross-functional alignment and achieve a consensus demand plan
Reconcile forecasting systems and ensure alignment across all relevant data sources
Translate demand signals into clear inputs for supply planning and IBP decision making
Conduct monthly performance reviews, including forecast versus actual analysis, and lead root cause analysis to improve forecast accuracy
Identify and communicate risks and opportunities, including gaps versus budget and financial targets
Provide timely and accurate inputs into IBP forums, including Portfolio Management Review and Demand Review

New Product Launches and Portfolio Changes

Act as the key interface between Market and Supply for new product launches, line extensions and product lifecycle changes
Ensure demand assumptions are clearly defined, aligned and reflected in the forecast
Coordinate launch readiness, including demand phasing and first supply alignment
Identify risks to launch timelines, supply availability or service levels and drive mitigation actions
Ensure portfolio changes, including launches, switches and phase-in or phase-out activities, are accurately reflected in planning systems

Performance and Continuous Improvement

Monitor and improve forecast performance metrics such as forecast accuracy and bias
Provide data-driven insights to support business decisions and financial planning processes
Identify opportunities to improve demand planning processes, systems and ways of working
Participate in and lead cross-functional projects as required
Ensure alignment between demand plans, financial outlooks and operational constraints

Systems and Data Management

Maintain forecasting systems with high levels of accuracy and data integrity
Ensure timely updates of actuals, master data, forecast inputs and product lifecycle changes
Own data quality within demand planning systems to support reliable reporting and decision making

Quality and timeliness of IBP submissions
Alignment between demand plan, supply plan and financial targets
