Join City of Moreton Bay as a Specialist Infrastructure Planner, and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.
As a Specialist Infrastructure Planner, you will lead complex, place‑based infrastructure planning, policy, and project prioritisation for high‑change precincts by defining coordinated infrastructure responses that support growth, sequencing, and delivery outcomes.
You will have the opportunity to;
deliver precinct infrastructure plans for high-growth areas, integrating transport, utilities, stormwater, open space, and community assets
assess system challenges, constraints, opportunities, aligning land use outcomes with coordinated servicing strategies
oversee options analysis and prioritisation, balancing demand, outcomes, risk, cost, and delivery interdependencies
align cross-functional input across planning, engineering, finance, providers, project teams, external stakeholders
advise leadership on trade-offs, sequencing, and pathways; resolve complex issues with clear, evidence-based direction

About you
We are seeking someone who has strong experience and expertise in precinct-scale infrastructure planning and delivery within complex growth or renewal environments.
You will have;
proven capability delivering place-based infrastructure programs, with deep knowledge of system integration, sequencing, and delivery models
demonstrated leadership in multidisciplinary planning, including options analysis and program prioritisation
strong analytical skills, balancing service outcomes, risk, cost considerations, and community expectations
experience providing high-level advice on complex, sensitive projects, supported by excellent communication skills for executive and governance audiences
You will have a tertiary qualifications in planning, engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
