BioMar Australia is looking for a commercially minded and driven Financial Accountant to join our team. This role can be based from our Hobart office or our manufacturing facility at Wesley Vale, providing the opportunity to work closely with teams across the business while enjoying the flexibility of either location.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll play a critical role in delivering accurate financial reporting, forecasting, treasury management and commercial analysis across BioMar Australia. You'll work across both strategic and operational finance activities, partnering with stakeholders to improve business performance and support informed decision-making.
You'll be involved in:

Monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting

Budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling

Cashflow and treasury management

Inventory reconciliations and cost analysis

Financial controls, governance and compliance reporting

Business partnering across operational and leadership teams

Continuous improvement initiatives and finance projects

Supporting team capability, collaboration and engagement across finance
This is a hands-on role where your commercial thinking, attention to detail and ability to build strong relationships will genuinely make an impact.

You'll ideally bring:

Degree qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline

CA or CPA qualification (or working towards)

5+ years' experience in accounting or finance within a commercial or manufacturing environment

Strong financial reporting, forecasting and analytical capability

Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
