Eleni’s Kitchen & Bar is looking for experienced front-of-house professionals to join our family-owned Greek restaurant in Yarraville.

We are planning to open additional venues over the coming years and want to build a strong team of people who can grow with us. This opportunity is suited to hospitality professionals seeking stable, long-term employment—not simply a short-term or seasonal role.

For the right people, there will be opportunities to progress into senior waiter, supervisor, assistant manager and venue-management positions as our business expands.

About the role

Depending on your experience, your responsibilities may include:

Providing warm, professional and attentive table service
Welcoming guests and creating a memorable dining experience
Managing your own section confidently during busy services
Taking food and beverage orders accurately
Learning and confidently explaining our Greek menu
Recommending wines, cocktails and other beverages
Using our point-of-sale and reservation systems
Assisting with functions, group bookings and special events
Completing opening, closing and cleaning duties
Supporting junior employees and helping maintain service standards
Working closely with our kitchen, bar and management teams
Contributing ideas as we prepare to open future venues

About you

We are looking for candidates who:

Have previous front-of-house experience in a busy restaurant
Are confident carrying plates, taking orders and managing a section
Have strong communication and customer-service skills
Take pride in their appearance and professionalism
Are reliable, punctual and available for weekend service
Work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
Are interested in food, wine and genuine hospitality
Want to develop a long-term hospitality career
Are committed to growing with the business
Hold, or are willing to obtain, a valid Victorian RSA

Experience in premium dining, Greek or Mediterranean restaurants, wine service, functions or restaurant supervision will be highly regarded.
