About the Role
As a Clinical Nurse in Pandanus Ward, you will provide advanced clinical care and leadership for aged care and medical patients with complex healthcare needs.
Key responsibilities include:
Deliver advanced, person-centred nursing care for patients with complex needs
Provide clinical leadership, guidance and support to nursing staff and students
Coordinate and evaluate patient care plans to achieve optimal outcomes
Lead quality improvement initiatives and support safe clinical practice
Contribute to education, mentoring and professional development activities
Support service delivery through effective resource coordination and clinical decision-making
About You
You are an experienced Registered Nurse with advanced clinical knowledge, strong leadership capability and a passion for delivering exceptional patient-centred care.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
Advanced clinical knowledge and experience managing complex patient care
Strong clinical leadership, critical thinking and decision-making skills
Experience coordinating care and supporting multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Ability to mentor, educate and support nurses, students and emerging clinicians
Knowledge of quality improvement, clinical governance and patient safety principles

About Bayside Health Service
Bayside Health Service encompasses five public health campuses being Redland Hospital at Cleveland, Marie Rose Centre at Dunwich North Stradbroke Island, Wynnum Manly Community Health Centre 'Gundu Pa', Pandanus Ward at Casuarina Lodge, Wynnum Manly and the Redlands Satellite Health Centre 'Talwalpin Milbul' at Redland Bay.
Bayside Health Service provides services within the hospital and community setting such as Emergency Care, Primary Health and Minor Injury Care, Acute and subacute medicine, general surgery, maternity and paediatric, mental specialist outpatient and mental health care.
Pandanus ward is located in Casuarina Lodge (48 New Lindum Road, Wynnum West), next to WMCHC. Pandanus houses the general health care beds for the Wynnum and Manly community and is alongside the existing units in Casuarina Lodge (Jasmine and Wisteria).
