Your new role:
This is an opportunity to provide advanced clinical leadership and specialist consultancy in safety and quality, clinical governance, helping strengthen systems that support safe, contemporary and evidence-based patient care across Bayside Health Service. You will:
Provide advanced clinical expertise and consultancy across clinical governance, patient safety and quality, working autonomously and collaboratively with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
Lead and contribute to clinical incident management, quality improvement, risk management, clinical redesign, accreditation and initiatives that enhance patient outcomes.
Develop, implement and evaluate evidence-based policies, guidelines, procedures and clinical practices while supporting education, mentoring, research and workforce development.
Influence innovation and change through strong communication, negotiation and professional leadership, helping build a culture focused on safety, quality and continuous improvement.
About you:
We are looking for an experienced and influential Registered Nurse who can combine advanced clinical knowledge with strong governance, leadership and quality improvement capability.
You bring advanced knowledge and experience in quality and safety nursing practice, clinical governance and patient safety, including clinical incident management.
You demonstrate highly developed clinical judgement, problem-solving and decision-making skills and can manage complex issues across multiple work areas.
You have experience applying the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards, undertaking gap analysis, quality improvement and accreditation activities.
You are a collaborative and confident clinical leader who can influence stakeholders, build positive team cultures and translate evidence into meaningful improvements in practice.
