About Your Role
As a Registered Nurse within Mental Health Central Staffing, you will provide safe, compassionate and person-centred care across Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services.
Deliver comprehensive mental health nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
Work across MSAMHS locations including Logan, Princess Alexandra and Redland Hospitals, adapting to changing clinical environments and supporting patient care where staffing needs arise.
Apply critical thinking, clinical judgement and effective prioritisation to coordinate care, manage referrals and respond to changing patient and ward requirements.
Collaborate with nursing, allied health and medical teams while supporting safe, quality care and maintaining accurate clinical documentation and EMR records.
Contribute to quality improvement, evidence-based practice, clinical leadership and ongoing professional development within an integrated addiction and mental health service.
About You
We are looking for a compassionate and adaptable Registered Nurse who is committed to delivering high-quality mental health care and working collaboratively to achieve positive outcomes for patients.
Demonstrate strong clinical assessment, critical thinking and decision-making skills, with a commitment to safe, high-quality person-centred care.
Bring strong communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills, with empathy, integrity and respect for consumers, families, carers and colleagues.
Demonstrate, or have the ability to develop, skills in mental health and risk assessment and comprehensive care planning within a multidisciplinary environment.
Show a commitment to ongoing learning, reflective practice, clinical supervision and developing your knowledge and skills in mental health nursing.
Demonstrate a commitment to evidence-based practice, quality improvement and professional leadership, with an interest in further developing your mental health expertise.
