Full Job Description

Rymer Constructions is seeking a qualified carpenter with a minimum of 2 years experience to join our growing team. This role involves working on a range of residential renovation and extension projects across North Brisbane, delivering high-quality workmanship while contributing to a positive and professional site culture.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out all aspects of residential carpentry work, including framing, fixing, fit-off and finishing.
Interpret plans, drawings and specifications to complete works accurately.
Work collaboratively with supervisors, apprentices, subcontractors and clients.
Maintain high standards of workmanship, site presentation and safety.
Assist in planning and coordinating daily site activities.
Identify and resolve construction issues as they arise.
Mentor and support apprentices where required.
Ensure projects are completed efficiently and to company quality standards.
Follow Workplace Health and Safety requirements at all times.
Communicate effectively with team members regarding project progress and requirements.

Skills, Experience & Requirements

Certificate III in Carpentry.
Minimum 2 years experience.
Experience in residential renovations and extensions preferred.
Current White Card.
Own set of carpentry tools suitable for residential construction work.
Current driver’s licence and reliable transport.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Professional attitude with excellent communication skills.
Commitment to producing high-quality work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50.00 – $60.00 per hour

Work Location: On the road
