Job Title: Store Manager
Location: Sunnybank, Brisbane QLD

About us:

We are a local fresh food retail business in Sunnybank, specialising in offering a wide selection of premium fresh meat and seafood products. Our range includes Japanese-style sashimi-grade seafood, Chinese-style marinated meats, and everyday fresh produce catering to a diverse customer base. We pride ourselves on quality, freshness, and friendly customer service within a fast-paced retail environment.

The role:

As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for the overall daily operation of the store, ensuring smooth service delivery and strong team performance. Your key responsibilities include:

Managing day-to-day store operations in line with business standards
Leading, training, and supervising staffs
Rostering, staff allocation, and performance management
Overseeing stock control, ordering, and supplier coordination
Ensuring food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards are met
Driving sales performance and maintaining customer satisfaction
Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally
Working closely with management to achieve business targets

About you:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced retail leader who can work in a busy environment and take ownership of store performance.

Diploma or higher qualification
Minimum 1 year of relevant retail management or supervisory experience
Experience in fresh food retail, meat, seafood, FMCG, or similar industry preferred
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Excellent customer service and communication abilities
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Bilingual in English and Chinese preferred

We offer:

We offer a competitive salary of $75,000 – $85,000 per year, depending on experience. This is a full-time position based in Sunnybank, Brisbane, with opportunities for career growth within a dynamic and expanding business.
