Full Job Description

Coffee Alliance is looking for a motivated and hands-on Coffee Operations Assistant to join our busy production team in Brisbane, QLD. This is a casual role based in our fast-paced roasting facility, perfect for someone with a genuine passion for coffee who is eager to develop their skills in the industry.

This role requires flexible availability to accommodate varying shift patterns and operational demands.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Production Manager you will play a vital part in our production process. Your primary focus will be ensuring our high-quality roasted coffee is packed, labelled, and ready for our e-commerce and wholesale customers with 100% accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Order Fulfillment: Pick, weigh, seal, label, and pack coffee products according to daily orders.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for coffee product handling and warehouse operations.
Quality Control: Conduct final checks to verify order accuracy and ensure all packaging meets company standards for freshness and presentation.
Efficiency: Work quickly to meet daily dispatch deadlines while following set workflows.
Safety & Compliance: Adhere to food safety, hygiene regulations, and workplace health and safety (WHS) procedures.
Teamwork: Maintain clear communication with the production team and assist in various areas of the warehouse as needed.
Housekeeping: Keep your workspace clean, organized, and free of hazards.

What We're Looking For

Essential Criteria:

A genuine passion for coffee.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
Basic computer literacy.
Valid work visa or appropriate Australian work rights.

Desirable (But Not Essential):

Previous experience in a manufacturing or factory environment.
Knowledge of coffee blending or roasting techniques.
Current Forklift Licence, OH&S Certificate, or First Aid Certificate.

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
