Clerk Grade 7/8 ($113,574 - $125,72 opportunity within the People & Workforce group, Workforce Planning branch based in Martin Place

About the Role
As the Program Officer, you will join the Workforce Planning branch within the Sector Leadership Development team. This role primarily supports the design and delivery of contemporary leadership development programs for senior executives and employees across the NSW public sector. You will help coordinate learning pathways, stakeholder engagement initiatives and program operations to ensure high-quality, accessible and well-run development opportunities that meet business needs and government standards.

You will work closely with participants, external providers and sector stakeholders, while also managing the administrative, financial and event coordination activities that support program delivery.

We're Looking For

Program Coordination and Delivery: Use your knowledge of leadership development to support the delivery of learning and development programs, manage competing priorities and help ensure quality outcomes are achieved on time, on budget and in line with agreed objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Apply your strong communication and relationship management skills to work effectively with participants, providers and sector stakeholders.
Operational Excellence and Adaptability: Experience in administration, event coordination and business support, along with a flexible, customer-focused approach to identify improvements, support branch operations and maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.
Research and Continuous Improvement: Contribute your research and analytical skills to identify best practice leadership development approaches, support informed decision making and help keep program content relevant, contemporary and responsive to sector needs.
