Childcare Centre Director
Location: Stanmore, NSWEmployment Type: Full-time
We are seeking an experienced, passionate and dedicated Childcare Centre Director to lead our boutique early learning service. This is a hands-on leadership position where the successful applicant will count in educator-to-child ratios while overseeing the day-to-day management and operation of the centre.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing leadership responsibilities with working directly alongside children and educators to provide high-quality early childhood education and care.
About the Role
As Centre Director, you will:
- Lead and mentor a team of passionate educators.
- Work on the floor and count in ratio as required.
- Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards and Education and Care Services National Regulations.
- Foster strong relationships with children, families and the local community.
- Manage enrolments, occupancy, staffing and rosters.
- Support programming, curriculum planning and continuous quality improvement.
- Maintain a positive, collaborative and professional team culture.
- Oversee the day-to-day administration and operation of the service.
About You
To be successful, you will have:
- An approved Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).
- Previous experience in a leadership role within an early childhood setting.
- A thorough understanding of the National Quality Framework and Child Safe Standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Current NSW Working With Children Check.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates.
- A genuine passion for leading teams while remaining actively involved with children.
