Full Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to join our team in Hobart.

About the Role The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, smooth service, food quality, staff performance and compliance with workplace standards. Key Responsibilities - Manage daily restaurant operations and service - Lead, train and supervise restaurant staff - Prepare staff rosters and manage staff attendance - Maintain high standards of customer service - Monitor food quality, presentation and portion control - Manage stock levels, ordering and wastage - Handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints professionally - Ensure food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards are followed - Monitor sales, costs and restaurant performance - Work closely with the owners to improve operations and profitability - Open and close the restaurant as required About You - Previous experience in a restaurant management or supervisory role - Strong leadership and communication skills - Excellent customer service skills - Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment - Good understanding of food safety and restaurant operations - Reliable, organised and hands-on - Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and public holidays - Australian work rights What We Offer - Competitive salary based on experience - Full-time position - Supportive and friendly working environment - Opportunity to grow with a growing Hobart restaurant - Staff meals and other benefits Location: Hobart, TAS Employment Type: Full-time Position: Restaurant Manager If you are an experienced restaurant professional who enjoys leading a team and taking responsibility for the smooth running of a busy restaurant, we would love to hear from you.
