Restaurant Manager – 52 South Cafe & Restaurant
52 South Cafe & Restaurant in Rosetta is looking for an experienced, reliable and motivated Restaurant Manager to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day operation of the restaurant, maintaining high customer service standards, supervising staff and supporting the overall growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily restaurant operations
- Supervise and support front-of-house and kitchen staff
- Prepare rosters and coordinate staff shifts
- Maintain excellent customer service standards
- Handle customer enquiries, bookings and complaints professionally
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering
- Maintain food safety, hygiene and workplace standards
- Assist with functions, catering and special events
- Monitor costs, sales and restaurant performance
- Work closely with the owner and kitchen team
- Help maintain a clean, organised and professional restaurant environment
About You:
- Previous restaurant, café or hospitality management experience preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Friendly, professional and customer-focused
- Reliable and well organised
- Able to work well under pressure
- Good problem-solving skills
- Available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
