About Us:

Work for a growing multicultural specialist practice located at the heard of Leichhardt. Founded in 1990 by a pioneering surgeon, our practice has supported generations of Inner West families with trusted, evidence-based care. Over the decades, we've cared for more than 25,000 patients and delivered more than 10,000 surgeries. Key Responsibilities:

Patient Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for patients, managing arrivals and departures within established practice routines.
Scheduling: Manage the telephone system and patient bookings, demonstrating sound communication and interpersonal skills.
Billing: Process patient payments and perform basic arithmetic tasks related to daily reconciliation.
Workflow Prioritisation: Independently prioritise daily administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic.
Clerical Support: Undertake a range of basic clerical functions, including scanning, filing, and data entry, following existing practice methods and procedures.

Requirements & Skills:

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of customer-facing experience is required. Experience in a medical or hospitality environment is preferred.
Communication: Excellent English verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with patients and clinical staff. Additional languages are a plus.
Autonomy: Ability to work under limited supervision, either individually or as part of the administration team. Experience with Xestro practice management is a plus.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in basic office software and the ability to learn medical-specific software programs.

Pay: $35.00 per hour
