Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for patients, managing arrivals and departures within established practice routines.
- Scheduling: Manage the telephone system and patient bookings, demonstrating sound communication and interpersonal skills.
- Billing: Process patient payments and perform basic arithmetic tasks related to daily reconciliation.
- Workflow Prioritisation: Independently prioritise daily administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic.
- Clerical Support: Undertake a range of basic clerical functions, including scanning, filing, and data entry, following existing practice methods and procedures.
Requirements & Skills:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of customer-facing experience is required. Experience in a medical or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Communication: Excellent English verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with patients and clinical staff. Additional languages are a plus.
- Autonomy: Ability to work under limited supervision, either individually or as part of the administration team. Experience with Xestro practice management is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in basic office software and the ability to learn medical-specific software programs.
Pay: $35.00 per hour
