Location negotiable across NSW (subject to campus availability)

Temporary Full Time until 30 June 2027

$145,605 - $160,719 salary package - includes base salary ($128,284 - $141,600), plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading (if part time add paid pro-rata)

About the role

As a Senior Project Officer, you will lead the delivery of the Women in Business program, coordinating a range of high‑impact activities that support small business owners. This includes scheduling and hosting webinars with external presenters, running regular drop‑in sessions for participants and overseeing the development and delivery of engaging content across Microskills, blogs and social media channels. You will develop and implement a social media strategy, manage program communications and ensure strong stakeholder engagement. The role also involves coordinating governance activities, monitoring program performance and providing regular updates to the Manager Strategic Projects and internal steering committee, ensuring all deliverables are achieved on time, within scope and to quality standards.

About you

You are a driven and self‑motivated professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and takes ownership of outcomes. You are a confident communicator with strong networking skills and the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders, including small business owners and external partners. You preferably bring experience or exposure to marketing, communications or running a small business, with a strong understanding of social media platforms, including scheduling, promotion and content management. You are organised, adaptable and solutions‑focused, with the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a strong customer focus and delivering high‑quality results.

To be successful in this role you will have:

Degree qualification in related field OR equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.
Demonstrated sound project management skills and experience and the ability to plan, lead and deliver complex implementation activities.
High level planning and analytical skills along with the ability to address specific

Highly Regarded

Demonstrated experience in social media platforms and/or marketing
Demonstrated experience in working with small business owners
