The Opportunity
Veolia ANZ is looking for a Vehicle Logistics Officer (VLO) to join our team in Cameron Park - 2285. As the primary contact for waste drivers and operators, you'll ensure safe operations and assist with daily challenges. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you'll handle scheduling, routing, and stakeholder communication. This full-time role (Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm) offers a chance to contribute to our efficient and safe waste management operations.

What you'll be responsible for
Design and optimise collection routes to maximise operational efficiency
Generate and analyse driver performance reports and billing documentation
Provide prompt and effective resolution to customer inquiries and concerns
Collaborate with Customer Service and Sales teams to address operational matters
Lead daily driver debriefing sessions to document incidents and operational challenges
Coordinate monthly safety meetings and implement safety protocols
Oversee daily logistics operations to ensure seamless service delivery
Monitor and maintain compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational performance
What you'll need to be successful
Experience in Waste Management, Transport, Logistics, or Service Industries
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, and Salesforce
Proven track record of stakeholder relationship management
Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships
Exceptional organisational and time management capabilities
Proactive approach to workplace health and safety
Adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced environment
