About the role

This role is an exciting opportunity to shape how Inner West Council attracts and engages future talent. The Senior People and Culture Advisor - Talent Acquisition and Pathways plays a key role in positioning Inner West Council as an Employer of Choice. The role focuses on attracting and engaging talent through innovative sourcing strategies, building partnerships with educational institutions and training organisations and supporting Council’s regular intake of trainees, apprentices and cadets.

This position works closely with the Workforce Diversity and Resourcing Manager to strengthen Council’s Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and enhance candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle. The role collaborates with People and Culture Advisors to continuously improve recruitment processes and ensure inclusive, efficient and engaging practices

Remuneration

$76,876.80 - $83,633.05 (pro-rata based on 28 hours) + 12% Superannuation

Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications

Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline, or equivalent experience in recruitment/talent acquisition

Demonstrated experience in end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, selection, and onboarding

Strong understanding of employer branding and candidate experience principles

Experience building partnerships with educational institutions, RTOs, and community organisations through excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver outcomes within deadlines

Proficiency in recruitment systems and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, SEEK, PageUp or similar)
