Urinalysis Coordinator – Corrections Intelligence Group – Corrective Services NSW

Clerk Grade 5/6, salary $99,938 - $110,271pa plus superannuation and leave loading
This is a full time, office-based role
Location – Corrections Intelligence Group, Silverwater

The Corrections Intelligence Group (CIG) provides high level intelligence support to Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW) stakeholders and various law enforcement agencies. Intelligence products disseminated by the CIG assist with decision making processes around the management of offenders in custody and under community corrections supervision.

Your role

You will coordinate the Urinalysis Program within CSNSW and provide guidance and support to both internal and external stakeholders. Training and coaching as well as general advice to centres and responding to legal requests will form part of your role.

This role will require you to collate inmate Urinalysis testing results and notify the Governor of the centres to review and action in accordance with policy. All data and results are to be entered into the Offender Integrated Management System (OIMS ).

This role is required to undertaken training across the CSNSW network at correctional centres throughout the state.

What we’re looking for

Certificate 4 Training and Assessment or willingness to commence this within the first 6 months of employment
Experience in delivering training
Maintain confidentiality, information handling and security requirements
Balance competing work demands whilst providing a high quality administrative service in a high pressured / high volume and sensitive work environment
Self-directed and highly motivated
Strong team player and proven ability to work collaboratively
Proven ability to develop rapport and strong working relationships
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
High level of professionalism, confidentiality and discretion
Proficient in the use of computers and data entry
