The Gig:

As Sales Manager for Groups & Events, you’ll play a pivotal role in securing and growing new business with a strong focus on the group and event market segments. You’ll be a key point of contact for corporate event sales enquiries while also supporting the overall leadership, strategy and commercial performance of the events segment. This is a hands-on sales role suited to someone who thrives on the thrill of the chase, builds strong long-term client relationships, and understands how to convert opportunities into revenue growth across corporate event markets.

About you:

At least 3 years' experience in sales management, preferably within a 5-star hotel or similar.
Exceptional communicator with strong sales, and client management skills.
Effective in prioritising and organising work assignments, with timely follow-up and flawless execution.
Systems-savvy, particularly when using CRM software to manage sales pipelines, track client activities, and report on performance.
Proven track record in proactive hotel or event sales, using expert negotiation skills to confidently turn leads into revenue.
Highly motivated with sharp commercial acumen, you excel at analysing market trends and monitoring competitors to recommend impactful pricing and promotional strategies.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is desirable.
