The team
ASIC's Strategy and Corporate Affairs Group leads communications and stakeholder engagement across internal, corporate and external channels.
The Events team delivers high-impact events that support ASIC's strategic priorities and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, industry and partners
The role
As the Events Manager, you will lead the delivery of ASIC's high-profile and strategically significant events, ensuring they align with organisational priorities and drive meaningful stakeholder engagement.
You will also:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale ASIC events, including the ASIC Annual Forum
- Partner with executives to manage event coordination, reporting and governance processes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, industry participants and suppliers
- Lead procurement, contracting and budget management in line with government requirements
- Identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies across multiple events
- Deliver post-event evaluations to measure outcomes and drive continuous improvement
About you
You are an experienced events professional, confident in delivering complex, high-profile events in fast-paced environments and working closely with senior stakeholders.
You will also bring:
- Strong project management capability, with a proven ability to manage multiple events concurrently and deliver to a high standard, on time and within budget
- Experience in financial and risk management, procurement, and contract oversight
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, executive-ready outputs
- The ability to work with a high level of autonomy and accountability
