We service medical practices, dental practices and hospitals across Australia, helping ensure their technology remains secure, reliable and operating at its best.

As they continue to expand, they are looking for a motivated IT Support Engineer to join their technical team.

About the Role

As an IT Support Engineer, you’ll provide both remote and onsite technical support across a broad range of Microsoft technologies and business IT environments.

You’ll assist clients with day-to-day technical issues while also gaining exposure to server administration, Microsoft 365, virtual environments, networking and infrastructure projects.

This role offers plenty of variety and is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, building client relationships and continually developing their technical skills within a supportive MSP environment.

Your time will be split between remote support, onsite client visits and project work, giving you exposure to a diverse range of technologies and business environments.

About You

You’re a proactive IT professional who enjoys troubleshooting, learning new technologies and helping businesses solve technical challenges.

You may already have experience working within an MSP environment, or you may be an ambitious IT technician looking to broaden your technical skills and progress your career.

You’ll ideally have:

Essential

Previous experience in an IT support or technical support role
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Good understanding of Microsoft Windows environments
Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications
Understanding of Active Directory and user administration
Exposure to Windows Server environments
Understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP and TCP/IP
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
Current Australian Driver’s Licence

Desirable

Experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP)
Experience with VMware ESXi or Hyper-V mainly
Azure / Microsoft Entra ID experience
Experience with backup solutions such as Veeam
Firewall experience with Watchguard, Draytek, Sophos, Ubiquiti or similar
Microsoft certifications
Experience supporting business IT environments
Highly Desirable if you have been supporting medical or dental practice management software such as MedicalDirector, Best Practice, Dental4Windows, Genie, Shexie etc or similar healthcare applications will be highly regarded.
