About Noosa Clinic

Noosa Clinic is a well-established, patient-focused medical practice located in Noosaville. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality healthcare to the Sunshine Coast community in a professional and highly supportive environment.

The Role

We are seeking a highly organised and approachable Medical Receptionist to join our front desk team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a critical role in ensuring the clinic runs smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with our Principal Doctor, nursing staff, and management team to provide exceptional administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Experience: Greeting patients warmly, managing enquiries, and ensuring a high standard of patient care from the moment they walk in.
Appointment Management: Coordinating patient bookings, managing the clinical roster, and prioritising urgent medical appointments.
Billing & Administration: Processing patient accounts, Medicare, DVA, and WorkCover claims accurately.
Communication: Triaging phone calls efficiently and liaising between patients, doctors, and external healthcare providers.
Data Entry: Maintaining highly accurate and confidential patient records in our practice management software.

About You

Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar fast-paced healthcare administration role.
Proficiency with Best Practice.
Strong understanding of Medicare billing and medical terminology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
High-level organisational skills and a meticulous eye for detail.
