Claims Reporting Analyst – RAA – Adelaide (12 months contract)

About the role

Design and deliver clear, reliable Power BI dashboards and reports to support RAAI’s day‑to‑day and strategic reporting needs.
Work closely with internal stakeholders to transition reporting views from the Insurance Datamart to the Enterprise Data Warehouse, ensuring data remains accurate, complete, and fit for purpose.
Provide regular insights on business performance against budget and forecast, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders by clearly communicating reporting progress, sharing insights, and handing over completed visualisations with confidence.
Promote continuous improvement, customer-focused service, and safe working practices while actively developing skills and supporting a positive team culture.

About you

Practical experience analysing and reporting insurance, sales, marketing, or business operations data.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution to achieve positive outcomes.
Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Power Query, and Microsoft Excel; basic capability in a statistical or query‑based programming language (e.g. R) is highly desirable.
Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving ability, with strong attention to detail and the capacity to interpret complex data to support business decision‑making.
General knowledge of insurance products, pricing systems, and procedures, as well as relevant industry codes, privacy principles, dispute resolution processes, and legislative requirements (with in‑house training provided).
