The Role:
Play a key role in driving pricing and promotional performance across a national retail network. Using data-driven insights, you will identify opportunities to improve sales, margins and customer value while supporting informed commercial decision making across the business.
You Will Provide:
- Analysis of pricing, promotional, margin and volume performance across categories, brands and store formats.
- Insights into promotional effectiveness, including sales uplift, margin impact, customer response and cannibalisation.
- Support for pricing reviews through competitor analysis, price positioning and commercial performance assessment.
- Identification of pricing and promotional opportunities, risks and areas requiring further investigation.
- Data and performance analysis to support promotional planning, category forecasting and commercial initiatives.
- Post-promotion and post-campaign reviews to evaluate effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
- Regular pricing and promotions reporting for key commercial stakeholders.
- Maintenance of accurate reporting tools, data inputs and performance tracking processes.

About You:
- Experience in an analyst, pricing, promotions, commercial, finance or retail support role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales, pricing and margin data.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience using reporting or business intelligence tools.
- Ability to translate data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
- High attention to detail and strong data accuracy skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Experience in retail, FMCG, convenience or multi-site environments is desirable.
- Experience with Power BI, SQL or similar analytics tools will be highly regarded.
- Relevant qualifications in Business, Commerce, Finance, Analytics or a related discipline are preferred.
