Employment Status: Permanent, part time
Days & Hours of Work: 3 days a week, Monday and flexible on the other days totalling 22.8 hours a week
Competitive Salary: Band 3 - $72,331.61 pro-rata + 12% superannuation
Location: Bayside and Glen Eira Area

About the Role:

The key purpose of the Home Maintenance Officer role is to support client safety and wellbeing by completing home maintenance and minor home modification tasks which do not require a qualified tradesperson.

You will be responsible for:

Supporting client safety and wellbeing by completing home maintenance and minor modification tasks.
Maintaining stock of regularly used materials.
Maintaining high level of customer service.
Delivering services in a safe and professional manner.

Key Selection Criteria:

To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and competencies:

A minimum of two years' experience in a handyman or property maintenance role, preferably in a Community Services environment.
Ability to communicate with staff and clients with empathy and understanding, and a sensitivity to diverse economic, social and cultural backgrounds
Good written and verbal communication skills.

Mandatory pre-employment requirements:

Be willing to undergo and complete a satisfactory criminal history check.
Provide or obtain an employment-based Working with Children check.
Be willing to undertake a premedical assessment check.
Victoria Driver's Licence.
