Competitive Salary: Band 3 - $72,331.61 pro-rata + 12% superannuation

About the Role:
The key purpose of the Home Maintenance Officer role is to support client safety and wellbeing by completing home maintenance and minor home modification tasks which do not require a qualified tradesperson.
You will be responsible for:
- Supporting client safety and wellbeing by completing home maintenance and minor modification tasks.
- Maintaining stock of regularly used materials.
- Maintaining high level of customer service.
- Delivering services in a safe and professional manner.
Key Selection Criteria:
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and competencies:
- A minimum of two years' experience in a handyman or property maintenance role, preferably in a Community Services environment.
- Ability to communicate with staff and clients with empathy and understanding, and a sensitivity to diverse economic, social and cultural backgrounds
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Mandatory pre-employment requirements:
- Be willing to undergo and complete a satisfactory criminal history check.
- Provide or obtain an employment-based Working with Children check.
- Be willing to undertake a premedical assessment check.
- Victoria Driver's Licence.
