About the Role

As an IT System Support professional, you will play a key role in maintaining and supporting Bremick's enterprise ICT environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of the company's IT infrastructure by providing technical support, administering enterprise systems, and assisting with system maintenance, upgrades, and technology implementations. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors, you will help deliver secure and efficient ICT services that support business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Support, maintain and optimise Bremick's enterprise ICT infrastructure, ensuring systems remain secure, reliable and available to support business operations.
Install, configure and administer Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP services and Microsoft 365.
Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support across desktops, servers, networking, enterprise applications and Microsoft 365, resolving complex technical issues in a timely manner.
Monitor system, server and network performance, proactively identifying opportunities to improve reliability, security and operational efficiency.
Manage VMware virtualisation environments, enterprise storage solutions and backup systems to ensure business continuity and disaster recovery readiness.
Implement and maintain ICT security controls, including multi-factor authentication, endpoint protection, secure access controls and vulnerability management to safeguard company systems and data.
Conduct system health checks, quality audits and security reviews, recommending and implementing improvements to ensure compliance with internal policies and industry best practices.
Perform routine maintenance activities, including software updates, security patching, configuration management and infrastructure upgrades to minimise operational risk and downtime.
Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system and network issues across the organisation while providing technical guidance to end users.
Develop, test and validate system changes, upgrades and new technology implementations prior to deployment into the production environment.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, internal teams and external technology vendors to deliver ICT projects that support Bremick's operational objectives and future technology initiatives.
Prepare and maintain accurate technical documentation, system configurations, asset registers, operational procedures and disaster recovery documentation to support ongoing ICT operations.
Deliver user training and technical guidance on enterprise systems, cybersecurity awareness and ICT best practices to promote secure and effective use of technology across the business.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating existing ICT systems and recommending enhancements that improve performance, scalability and business efficiency.

Skills and Qualifications required

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline (or higher).
Minimum of 3 years' experience in an enterprise ICT systems support or infrastructure environment.
Demonstrated experience administering Windows Server, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, and Microsoft 365.
Experience supporting enterprise ICT infrastructure, including servers, networking, virtualization, storage, and backup solutions.
Knowledge of VMware, Microsoft 365 administration, and enterprise security best practices.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across hardware, software, operating systems, and network environments.
Experience implementing and maintaining ICT security controls, including endpoint protection, multi-factor authentication, and patch management.
Understanding of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide technical support and training to users at all levels.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering reliable, secure, and high-quality ICT services.
Experience working with ERP systems, CRM platforms, or enterprise business systems.
Experience working with Crystal Reports.
Familiarity with system integration and database concepts.
Exposure to manufacturing or supply chain environments.
