Full Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re a Melbourne-based content creation agency specialising in short-form video for personal brands including Jane Lu, Sana Coffee, The Sneaker Laundry, Angela's Bakery and Bubble Cup.

We’re known for creating organic Reels and TikToks that drive viral results, and we’re looking for a freelance editor to help execute this.

You’ll work closely with our Content Strategists and Videographers, who will collaborate to supply you with sufficient raw footage and clear creative direction.

WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Editing short-form content optimised for organic reach and engagement across Instagram and TikTok
Creating strong hooks, pacing, cuts, captions, subtitles, and storytelling flow
Turning raw footage into engaging, retention-focused videos
Hitting deadlines with a 5 business day turnaround
Implementing revisions and feedback from Content Strategists within a 1 business day turnaround
Communicating clearly and responding to Content Strategists in a timely manner
Following our editing systems, workflows, and quality standards
Staying up to date with current short-form content trends and editing styles

YOU MUST HAVE

1+ years of CapCut editing experience
Experience editing short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, or similar platforms
Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently meet deadlines
Ability to take feedback and make improvements quickly
Strong communication skills and reliability

BONUS (NOT REQUIRED)

Experience editing content for personal brands or businesses
Understanding of viral content strategies
Experience analysing content performance and improving future edits
Familiarity with trends, hooks, and storytelling frameworks
