About the Role

At Origin, we're powering a brighter future for Australia. We're looking for a Company Secretarial Operations Associate to join our Company Secretary team and support the governance operations of one of Australia's leading ASX-listed organisations.

This is a unique opportunity for an early-career governance, legal, compliance or company secretarial professional to develop specialist expertise in corporate governance. Working alongside experienced Company Secretaries, you'll gain hands-on exposure to Board and AGM activities, ASIC and ASX compliance, shareholder engagement, subsidiary governance and company secretarial operations.

The Opportunity

As a key member of the Company Secretary team, you'll help ensure Origin meets its governance and statutory obligations while supporting the administration of our corporate entities. You'll work across Legal, Finance, Treasury, Investor Relations and Corporate Affairs, gaining valuable exposure to how a large, complex listed organisation operates.

What you'll be doing

Supporting ASIC and ASX compliance activities and statutory lodgements

Maintaining subsidiary, joint venture and governance records

Assisting with board operations, governance processes and AGM activities

Supporting shareholder services, share registry matters and equity plans

Managing company secretarial systems, registers and documentation

Partnering with stakeholders across Legal, Finance, Treasury and Investor Relations to deliver effective governance outcomes

What you'll bring

Experience in administration, governance, legal, compliance or company secretarial support roles

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The ability to manage competing priorities and build strong stakeholder relationships

Qualifications in Law, Commerce, Business or a related discipline will be highly regarded
