About You
You are an experienced governance lawyer with between 5 and 10 years' experience, bringing a strong track record from private practice or in-house roles within large organisations.
Your Experience & Expertise:
- Demonstrated experience supporting corporate governance functions within a listed entity, government body, regulator or large corporate organisation
- Strong understanding of governance frameworks, Board and Committee operations, and company secretariat practices from an in-house environment
- Experience supporting governance transformation, uplift or remediation projects, including the implementation of governance and regulatory recommendations
- Proven ability to manage governance workstreams within a broader strategic transformation or programme environment
- Knowledge of governance obligations, corporate reporting requirements and organisational accountability frameworks
- Experience advising and supporting stakeholders on governance processes, decision-making frameworks and best practice governance standards
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with project managers, executives, company secretaries and business stakeholders to deliver governance outcomes
- Ability to identify governance risks, develop practical solutions and support the implementation of sustainable governance improvements
- Experience operating within a highly regulated environment and managing sensitive governance issues with discretion and professionalism

- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills with the ability to quickly understand and assess governance issues
- Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced project delivery environment
- Professional, discreet and trustworthy when handling sensitive governance and organisational matters
