About the opportunity
We are seeking a commercially minded Client Relationship Manager to join our Investor Relations & Corporate Markets team.
This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting listed companies, investor relations functions, or financial markets clients who enjoys building trusted relationships and delivering exceptional client outcomes.
You’ll act as the relationship lead for a portfolio of high-profile listed and financial markets clients, supporting their investor relations and shareholder engagement activities while identifying opportunities to deepen partnerships and add value.
Working closely with senior stakeholders — including CEOs, Company Secretaries, Investor Relations teams, and executive leadership — you’ll combine strong relationship management capability with commercial awareness and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
About the role
As a Client Relationship Manager, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of listed and financial markets clients, ensuring their needs are anticipated and delivered to a consistently high standard.
You’ll operate at the intersection of investor relations, client service, relationship management, and commercial growth within a fast-paced corporate markets environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with listed company clients and key stakeholders
- Acting as the primary point of contact for investor relations and shareholder engagement-related matters
- Leading client meetings and proactively identifying opportunities to add value
- Supporting account planning, fee discussions, and service agreement management
- Identifying and driving cross-sell and upsell opportunities through strong product and market knowledge
- Managing key client initiatives, including investor communications, shareholder engagement activities, and AGM-related projects
- Coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery across all client touchpoints
- Monitoring client activity, queries, and reporting to ensure service levels are consistently achieved
- Contributing to client retention and long-term relationship growth
About you
You’re a confident relationship manager who thrives in a client-facing environment and enjoys working with sophisticated listed and financial markets clients.
You’ll likely bring:
- Experience in investor relations, corporate markets, client relationship management, account management, or client services
- Exposure to listed companies, shareholder services, capital markets, registry, governance, or broader financial services environments
- Strong financial literacy and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives
- A proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to manage competing priorities independently
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A collaborative, team-first mindset with a solutions-oriented approach
- Curiosity and a genuine interest in listed markets, investor engagement, and client outcomes
Experience within investor relations, share registry, corporate governance, issuer services, or adjacent financial markets environments will be highly regarded.
We’re open to candidates at different stages of their career journey — whether you’re an emerging relationship management professional looking to deepen your exposure to investor relations and corporate markets, or an experienced industry professional seeking a broader client-facing and commercial role.
