At Crown Lands, we're looking for a Customer & Tenure Operations Officer to join our dynamic team and play a vital role in the administration and management of Crown land across New South Wales.

The role

As a Customer & Tenure Operations Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the management of Crown land across NSW. Working within a collaborative and customer-focused team, you will be responsible for assessing and undertaking a broad range of licence and tenure administration activities that contribute to the effective stewardship of Crown land.

What You'll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

Assess and process Crown land licence and tenure transactions.
Provide timely, accurate and practical advice to customers, stakeholders and colleagues regarding tenure and licensing matters.
Investigate enquiries and assist in resolving complex licence and tenure issues.
Interrogate multiple systems, products and information sources to provide accurate customer information.
Maintain the quality and integrity of land information and tenure records.
Support the day-to-day administrative operations of the team through a variety of coordination and processing activities.
Apply legislation, policy and procedures to make informed decisions and recommendations.

About You

We're seeking someone who can confidently manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and customer service.

You'll be successful in this role if you have:

Experience working in a high-volume administrative, customer service or operational environment.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to interpret and apply legislation, policy, procedures and business rules.
Sound problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience working with databases, records management systems or complex information systems.
A proactive approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
