Join the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) and play a key role in supporting a multidisciplinary team that provides specialist mental health care to children, young people and their families across the Hunter New England region.
Based at the Newcastle CAMHS Community Team on Hunter Street, you'll be part of a dedicated team committed to improving the mental health and wellbeing of young people aged 0–17 years experiencing complex and severe mental health challenges.
About the role
As a Clinical Support Officer, you'll be the backbone of our service, providing high-quality administrative support that helps our clinicians deliver exceptional care. Working closely with the CAMHS Administration Manager, Clinical Coordinator and Service Manager, you'll contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of the service through a variety of administrative functions.
Your responsibilities will include:

Providing efficient administrative and clerical support to a large multidisciplinary team.

Coordinating meetings, agendas and documentation.

Assisting with recruitment, rostering and workforce administration.

Preparing reports, including KPI and performance reporting.

Managing confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Supporting the delivery of high-quality services for young people and their families.

What you'll be doing
Provide timely and accurate administrative transactional services to support the provision of clinical services across the service under the direction of the CAMHS Administration Manager, CAMHS Clinical Coordinator and CAMHS Service Manager.
