Medical Receptionists

Casual with opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidate
Monday to Friday – rostered shifts (minimum 4-hour shifts; maximum 8 hours)

About the Opportunity

We are looking for motivated and reliable Medical Receptionist to join our friendly, supportive and professional dermatology practice.

If you enjoy working in a busy healthcare environment, have excellent communication skills and take pride in providing outstanding customer service, we'd love to hear from you.

Training and ongoing support will be provided for the right candidates.

Medical reception experience is preferable but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome patients in a warm, friendly and professional manner
Answer phone calls and respond to patient enquiries
Book, confirm and coordinate appointments
Process patient accounts and payments
Prepare referrals, correspondence and medical documentation
Provide administrative support to doctors and nursing staff
Maintain smooth patient flow throughout the clinic
Prepare consulting rooms as required
Complete general administrative duties to support daily practice operations

About You

Friendly, professional and well presented
Strong communication and customer service skills
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Confident using computers and willing to learn new systems
Able to work in a busy, fast-paced environment
Reliable, punctual and a positive team player
Willing to open or close the practice when rostered
Flexible to assist with additional shifts when required to cover staff leave or illness
Looking for a long-term opportunity

Knowledge of Gentu software is an advantage, however full training can be provided.

Hours

Monday to Friday
Practice hours: 7:45am – 6:00pm
Flexible rostered shifts (minimum 4 hours - maximum 8 hours)
